you've already got it...take hold!

Say not in your heart that God is dead;
For from Whom cometh your own daily bread?
Do not look upon your needs alone;
Know that God sits upon His throne.

Qustion not the power you've caged withint your soul;
Only let it loose, let Him have full control!
Remove your carnal hands and spoil not the greatness of God;
Walk not in the flesh, walk not the path the world would trod.

Within your bosom you leave locked miracles as treasures;
And in your please, you cry for life's simple pleasures.
Do not pray for mercy in ignorance, or for faith in amongst your doubt;
That is not the reason we pray; your will is not what this is all about!

You've been given years to learn to lean on the Lord,
yet still you sit down;
Your pitiful whimper is for strength,
yet He's given grace that abounds!
When satanic thoughts pass through your mind,
you let them linger;
Refusing to cast them aside; forgetting
you have God-power even in your little finger!

You sit there with worry and trouble as your only companions;
Too helpless to blow them away as with mighty cannons.
Looking unto fleshly mankind to exalt you in your works;
All the time, wondering why, at your doorstep, evil does lurk.

Don't walk like the world, lest you, too, be bound for Hell;
Yet in your confession, you say, "Yes, all is well, all is well."
No one can help you, not even God Himself, in your carnal stinch;
He's given you ALL; He will not force you, though, to move an inch!

So pray no longer to God expecting so much more to receive;
He has already, within your reach, supplies your every need!
Quit asking, start thanking Him, start continually praising;
Happy hands, heart and voice to Him, start raising!
Why ask for what you have already been given;
It's time, for Him, you just start living!!
