JOYFULLY YOURS

 

I stand firm on the Word of God;

Tho all around me there is sinking sod.

I am not moved by every little wind and wave;

For I know I am born again, and I know I am saved!

 

I stand firm knowing that my God shall supply ALL my needs;

As I live for Him, grow in Him, and with others, plant the seeds.

Tho the mighty seas billows roll,

He remains the Captain of my soul.

 

I stand firm knowing that in Him, I live,
I breathe and I have my being;

And the dust and dirt I see flying,
are just the effects of the enemy fleeing!

For I have been called of God, ordained,
and made worthy through Jesus’ blood;

No longer am I a slave to sin,
but I been made free from this world’s filthy mud.

 

I stand firm, on solid ground;

I know I am Heaven bound.

My doubts and fears are all gone;

I’m ever looking up, singing ‘Lord, I’m coming home!’

 

I stand firm, through the righteousness
of the blood of the Lamb;

I know where I am going, I’m saved,
and I know that I am!

I wish everyone had this assurance, this living peace;

For my God gives me joy, and makes every storm cease.

 

I stand firm in my belief,
and I pray for you, too;

That you will come to know this Savior,
so kind and true.

In today’s world, everything is shaken
and what was sure, is now failing;

But from where I stand, all is well,
and the name of Jesus is prevailing!!
